Well, it's about time for a baby post around here.
Little Aurora at 10 weeks if you zoom in you can see her laying on her side looking straight at you, and also some little tiny toes on the right.
BAM! 11 weeks later lookey how big! She is waving to you. She was moving around so much it took us forever to get done with the ultrasound. The doctor said what she was doing was more like jumping, maybe my sour candy cravings are making her hyper or something! We got to see her 10 little toes and 10 little fingers, she was making a tight little fist with the right hand and shaking it at us!
This is my belly at 21 weeks, plus a little bit of a water/food baby. I have been feeling little kicks when I am watching TV and in the morning in bed. Probably because thats the only time I am really focusing on feeling her move. Other times I am not expecting it and it happens so fast I doubt whether or not it was her! I watched her kick and kick on the ultrasound but didn't feel a thing! I guess she is just too small. I have weened myself off of morning sickness and its been a whole 8 days since I got sick last. I think we will be sticking with the name Aurora Lynn McGinnis cuz it's purdy. I think she may have Brad's noes, which I dunno how I feel about that because mine is soo much cuter. I hope she has my fabulous eyebrows and lots of dark hair. I have cute nursery ideas but no where to start putting things! The townhouse I was in love with was rented out which makes me sad but I guess it wasn't meant to be! So I suppose we will just keep looking. Other updates on our family are:
Brad finally got his CDL and is already showing it to everyone he sees, it had been his goal for many years and now he has it! What he will do with it i don't know but at least he has it!
Also brad got his patriarchal blessing last sunday which was really fun he seemed to be enjoying the whole experience a lot. He is teaching the 7 yr olds in primary and I am in nursery with another preggo sarah so we always have stuff to talk about. Dad is giving Brad his priesthood lessons so that we can go to the temple in April and also so he can bless the baby! He is not good about praying or talking or being in front of people period so he will probably be terrified to give a blessing but we will deal with that when the time comes. Mom and I are going to attempt to make my temple dress seeing as the one I want is was too much! I think it will work well with my belly.
We also found an AWESOME chest at the thrift store that was painted green and some day we are going to refinish it and hopefully it will be my coffee table! Looking for other projects to work on. I have a few bar stools I need to reupholster and also deciding on a table mom found at the thrift store that needs to be painted and probably reupholstered as well, we just need some warmer weather around here so we can get started. I wish my sisters lived here so someone would throw me a baby shower! Soo much I need! I will have to start working on a post full of my nursery ideas and other baby related things! <3>
Sara! You are a beautiful Preggo, but we always knew we would be though right?? :D I love her name and I am actually a little jealous of your pregnant-ness...I LOVED being pregnant! Of course I didn't puke every day so I am glad that is getting better. Tell Brad congrats on the CDL and we are excited for him. Love you and that baby bunches and bunches!
ReplyDeleteyou know the first time you buy temple clothing like the dress and shoes and stuff its 50% off, they wont tell you that but if you say something they will. I promise. that would make it cheaper than making I think.
